information about your own router in order to configure the settings of your
router. Let us take the information

SSID: TP-Link-test
Encryption Type: wpa2-psk
LAN IP: 192.166.0.258

The DHCP function on the AP is disabled by
default, you have to assign an IP address manually for the device to match the
IP address of the client. You have to
configure the IP address first by entering as 192.168.1.100. Then connect your computer to the LAN port by
using an Ethernet cable.
The following are the various steps for the configuration.
• Open
the web browser and then log in to the management page of the client by entering
the web address as http://192.168.1.254 or search the web for tp link router setup page and then
press the enter button.
• Then
you will be redirected to a new page, where you have to enter your username and
password to proceed further. Type the username
and password both as “admin” in the space provided and then click on the OK
icon.
• In
the next page, tap on to the Network on the left side menu. In order to avoid the conflict, make sure
that the IP address that you have entered is same IP segment with the Routers
too. Then you need to change the IP
address of your computer to 192.168.0.1
and login in again.
• Under
the Operational Mode select the AP/Standard AP mode, and after that just click
on Save.
• Under
the Wireless, tap on to the Wireless mode.
Then you have to select the client as the wireless Mode and then click
Survey.
• In
the next step, using the AP list just find the Root Router’s SSID and then
click on to Connect.
• After
that click save if you see the message Config Upload Sucessfully! And wait for
a few seconds until it refreshes back to the status page.
